Miami, FloridaChit Chat Communications, Magic Johnson and BURGER KING®  celebrated Black History Month with the South Florida community during Super Bowl Weekend, by bringing emerging black business leaders and basketball great / business guru Magic Johnson to Florida Memorial University for the 5th Annual C. Morrison Presents… “After The Party, What’s The Plan?” Symposium Series, promoting higher education & entrepreneurship. The event took place Friday, February 2, 2007, 10am-1pm at Florida Memorial University ’s Lou Rawls Auditorium.

Business leaders from Atlanta,Georgia and South Florida discussed the importance of education and entrepreneurship. The panelists included: Chris Draft, NFL Player for the Carolina Panthers, Jermell Jenkins, CEO of Spase Desingz, Kevin Johnson, CEO of Johnson Media, Nichole Anderson, Lieutenant Executive Officer - Area 2, Department of Law Enforcement Broward Sheriff's Office - Pompano Beach and Sylvia Jackson, CEO of Film Captive Productions. Ishmael Joseph a senior at FMU and an Information Systems major was the moderator for the symposium. Anjuli Stars, one of South Florida’s up & coming singers performed 3 songs from her upcoming album and Brittany Mosley of Blanche Ely High School won the essay contest, that was developed through Carla Morrison’s need to empower kids to develop a 10 year plan of action for themselves. “Creating a plan of action for your life is very important,” stated Carla Morrison, Executive Producer of C. Morrison Presents…”After The Party, What’s The Plan?” Symposium Series and President of Chit Chat Communications

“And Brittany took the essay very seriously, which impressed our essay committee.”  All essay contestants received a gift, however the winner was showered with presents including Atowns Sneakers, Jay-Z t-shirt, Def Jam Collection and a host of other gifts. “As Mr. Johnson stated during his presentation, ‘You have to dream it before you can be it’,” said Morrison.
